Nick Williamson

Baseball Student-Athlete

Nick Williamson, a sophomore pitcher on the 探花约啪 Tech baseball team, has been playing the sport for 18 years and hopes to extend his playing career and study business at a four-year college after he graduates with his associate degree in refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning.

Early in the 2026 season, Williamson was honored as the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Pitcher of the Week for games played March 30-April 5. He was selected for the award after pitching a complete game shutout allowing only two hits while striking out six in a 5-0 win over Raritan Valley Community College on April 4.

In addition to the EPAC award, one of Williamson’s favorite highlights was closing out an April 1, 2026, game against Cecil College that 探花约啪 Tech won 14-13 in extra innings. He pitched the last two innings, retiring all six batters he faced – three by strikeout.

During his freshman season, Williamson (Hodgson Vo-Tech High School), who says he is inspired by former Major League Baseball pitcher Roy Halladay, appeared in 12 games, making two starts and throwing one complete game.

When not pitching, one of the aspects Williamson enjoys most at the stadium is “eating seeds with my friends” while watching and supporting his teammates on the field.

Outside of baseball, Williamson’s additional interests include playing video games and fishing, and one thing most people don’t know about him is that he loves to cook.
