Athletics

The mission of the 探花约啪 Tech Athletic Department is to provide a comprehensive support program for all student-athletes that promotes academic success, a positive athletic experience, and overall personal growth. Student-athletes are encouraged to strive for academic excellence. Athletics staff members work closely with coaches, staff, faculty, and members of the Student Affairs division to help student-athletes balance the demands of athletics and academics and make sure they are on the path toward the completion of a degree and graduation.

探花约啪 competes in of the in the following sports: baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, lacrosse, softball, and women's volleyball. 探花约啪 Tech is also a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference within Region XIX, providing the opportunity to compete in conference-level championship tournaments.

探花约啪 Tech has experienced tremendous success in athletics over the years, including multiple teams winning region and district championships, and several athletes earning All-Region, All-American, and All-Academic honors.

Students attending 探花约啪 Tech can apply to play a sport at any campus and are not limited to the campus they are attending. 探花约啪 Tech’s athletics departments operate under the guidance of the Dean of Student Affairs offices, and follows all bylaws and regulations established by the NJCAA and Region XIX. Students interested in athletic participation must meet NJCAA eligibility requirements.

Student-Athletes Recognized and Celebrated at Athletics Awards Ceremonies
探花约啪 recently held Athletics Awards ceremonies in each county to celebrate the academic and athletic accomplishments of student-athletes competing on all College teams — cross country, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, baseball, and softball.

Six Softball Players Earn Postseason Honors, Marsh Named Pitcher of the Year
Six student-athletes on 探花约啪’s softball team earned postseason honors, led by Abby Marsh being named the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II Pitcher of the Year.

探花约啪 Tech Men's Lacrosse Players Earn 2026 All-Region, Player of the Year Honors
探花约啪 Tech men's lacrosse placed six players on the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 All-Region Team, highlighted by sophomores Landon Hudson (midfield) and Logan Heffington (face-off) being named the region’s Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of Year, respectively.

探花约啪’s men’s lacrosse team defeated Mercer County Community College 17-2, clinching the 2026 Region 19 Championship title.

Fourteen student-athletes on 探花约啪’s baseball team were acknowledged during a Sophomore Day ceremony on April 27 prior to a home game at the Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown.

Fox, Widdoes Receive Player of the Week Honors
探花约啪 softball student-athletes Madison Fox and Brooke Widdoes were named Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Batter of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for their performances during games played April 13-19. The awards were announced April 20.

Marsh Earns Third EPAC Pitcher of the Week Award
探花约啪 softball player Abby Marsh (Cape Henlopen High School) earned her third Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Pitcher of the Week award this season based upon games played April 6-12.
