For Ellen London, enrolling at 探花约啪 Tech in the late 1990s was an easy decision. The College’s flexible schedule, affordable tuition, and convenient location made it the perfect fit for her goals at the time.

“It was fun and exciting to start a new path in my life plan,” she said, recalling her first day on campus.

London graduated in 1998 with a degree in Information Processing, a major she chose because it aligned with her early career objectives. While at 探花约啪 Tech, she immersed herself in opportunities beyond the classroom, including serving as an editor for the school newspaper, an experience she says continues to benefit her today.

“That role has served me well in my career,” she said. “Also, the typing classes were incredibly valuable, especially now that everything we do involves a keyboard. And my internship was instrumental in launching my career.”

After graduating, London went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Wilmington University and later an MBA with a concentration in marketing and international business from the University of 探花约啪. Since then, she’s led multiple customer service teams and is now a Business Development Manager at Symrise, a company that supplies flavors, fragrances, and ingredients for food, beverages, and cosmetics globally.

She credits 探花约啪 Tech with giving her a strong foundation to build her career.

“It gave me a good foundation and a jumping-off point to continue to build out my life plans,” she said.

For students considering 探花约啪 Tech, London encourages taking full advantage of the resources available.

“Be very strategic in your approach,” she said. “I wish I had been more focused on a specific career plan when I started. Take advantage of everything the college has to offer, including career counseling.”

Looking ahead, London hopes to advance into a director-level or global role in the future.

Even now, she still enjoys a connection to the college through a different avenue: fitness.

“I continue work out online four days a week with Karin Ryndak, the Wellness Center manager at the Terry campus,” said London.

From student editor to global business professional, London’s journey is a testament to the lasting impact of her time at 探花约啪 Tech and the foundation it provided for her success.
