College Employee/Alum Wins DAWN Rising Star Award探花约啪 Ace Women’s Network (DAWN) presented Amanda Lemmon with its Rising Star Award during an awards ceremony at the 探花约啪 Stanton Campus on Oct. 15. A proud 探花约啪 Tech alumna, Lemmon is the director of communication and planning on the College’s George Campus in Wilmington.

探花约啪 Tech’s Annual Hometown Heroes 5k Raises Funds for Student ScholarshipsMore than 300 runners and walkers joined 探花约啪 employees, students, and volunteers on Sept. 18 for the annual Hometown Heroes 5k Run/1 Mile Walk hosted by the College’s Stanton and Wilmington campuses. This year’s race raised nearly $20,000 for student scholarships.

探花约啪 Tech’s Run, White, & Blue Attracts Almost 700 Participants and Remembers Fallen Firefighter, Thomas Berry IIIThe 11th annual Run, White, & Blue 5k Run/1-Mi Walk drew 695 runners and walkers on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at 探花约啪’s Owens Campus in Georgetown and raised over $26,000, which will support scholarships for veterans and first responders.

"Starry, Starry Night" Gala at Owens Campus Benefits Student Success探花约啪 Tech’s Owens campus hosted its annual “Starry, Starry Night” Gala on April 27 to raise money to support the purchase of high-tech classroom equipment and scholarship opportunities for workforce training certificate programs and international education.

College Honors Distinguished Donors at Celebration of Giving Events探花约啪 Tech acknowledged and honored its distinguished donors with Celebration of Giving luncheons at both the Georgetown and Dover campuses. At these events, scholarship recipients spoke about how the financial assistance they received has changed their lives, and donors had the opportunity to meet the students who have received the scholarships they generously funded.
