Science Instructor

Michael Buoni is a science instructor at the Owens Campus who teaches genetics and molecular biology. He joined 探花约啪 Tech in 2010, attracted to the College’s hands-on approach to teaching in small classroom settings, which is what he likes most about working at the College.

Prior to joining 探花约啪 Tech, Buoni taught high school biology for 11 years and also taught at the University of 探花约啪.

“My first day at 探花约啪 Tech was fantastic!” Buoni said. “Dr. Vezmar, who was my supervisor at the time, spent much of the day introducing me to many people and was very supportive.”

His fondest memories as a 探花约啪 Tech instructor have been the times when he has incorporated research into his courses.

Outside the classroom, Buoni enjoys brewing beer, smoking meat, gardening, and golf. He also loves romantic comedies.
