Three Baseball Players Earn All-Region Honors

Three student-athletes on 探花约啪’s baseball team were named to the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II All-Region Team. Will Austin and Zak Sophy both earned All-Region First Team honors, and Nick Williamson was named to the All-Region Second Team.
Sophy, a sophomore outfielder, paced the team with a .395 batting average and also led all players with 41 RBI, 10 home runs, and an .895 slugging percentage. He was second on the squad in runs scored (30), doubles (7), and triples (3).
A sophomore infielder, Austin hit .308 on the season and topped the team with 37 hits and eight doubles. He was second among players with six home runs, and he also scored 26 runs and drove in 31.
On the pitching mound, Williamson, a sophomore, recorded a team-high six wins, including two complete game shutouts. He also led the team in ERA (2.90) and recorded one save. In 49.2 innings of work, he struck out 62 batters and walked 22.
