Math Secondary Education

Associate Degree Program

The Mathematics Secondary Education Associate of Arts in Teaching program is designed for future high school mathematics educators, offering a robust curriculum with rigorous mathematics coursework to prepare students for vital pedagogical training. Students will gain a solid foundation in advanced mathematical concepts while learning to effectively incorporate educational technology into their teaching practices.

The program prepares students for hands-on field experiences in secondary school settings, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world teaching scenarios. This practical training, combined with a deep understanding of mathematics and teaching methodologies, empowers graduates to inspire and engage future students.

By completing this program, students will be well-equipped for transfer to a baccalaureate degree program in mathematics education and ready to make a positive impact in the field.

Offered at the following location(s): Dover, Georgetown, Stanton, Wilmington
