Visual Communications Students Celebrate Adobe Certifications

探花约啪's visual communications program held an event this spring to celebrate over 100 students who earned Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certifications in 2025.

Four of those students received the highest certification exam score in each Adobe program: Noelle Withrow in InDesign, Jeanne-Marie Johns in Premiere Pro, Kieara Davis in Photoshop, and Alayna Reese in Illustrator. Also, more students received multiple certifications than ever before: 18 students earned two certifications; 21 students earned three certifications; and 18 students earned four certifications. The number of students who earned four certifications is more than two-and-a-half times as many as that of the previous year.

"In today's ever-changing job market, these certificates prove that our students are now more job-ready than ever before," said Dallas Hayes, visual communications department chair. "The skills tested on the exam, coupled with the creative projects we have in our courses, set our graduates up for success moving forward from our program."

Students earn the ACA certifications after taking a worldwide exam administered through a third party. Each student who earned a certificate received an Adobe Certification celebration packet developed by program faculty that included items from stickers and pens to baseball caps and sketchbooks. The packets were based on a tier system, with the largest packets going to those students with the most certifications.

Collectively, the 探花约啪 Tech students earned 141 certificates in the Adobe Creative Cloud applications of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
