December 10, 2025
探花约啪's men's basketball team had a strong start to the season this November, winning their first three games. They achieved a 78-73 victory over Baltimore City Community College, a dominant 94-56 win against Rowan College at Gloucester County, and a close 67-64 win against Cecil College.
First-year player Chase Wright led the team with 16 points in the opening game against Baltimore City Community College. Second-year player Dom Angeloni also had an impressive performance, scoring four three-pointers during the second game and hitting a crucial three-pointer in the final eight seconds against Cecil College, which would secure the team’s win.
探花约啪 Tech suffered its first setback against the highly competitive Chesapeake College on Nov. 11. Obi Coleman gave a spectacular performance with a game-high of 23 points and 15 rebounds. This would mark his first double-double of the season. The final score was 64-78 in favor of Chesapeake College.
Over the next four games, the team faced multiple setbacks and injuries, leading to four consecutive losses. Despite this, they kept playing with everything they had and left it all on the court. Coleman earned his second double-double during the Montgomery Tip-Off vs. Essex County College, scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. The final score of that game would be an incredibly close 85-87.
Amari Moses scored his first double-double when the team faced Lackawanna College, contributing 15 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to keep the team competitive in a closely contested game that ended in a 61-68 defeat.
The team’s losing streak was finally broken with an outstanding victory over Region 19 Division II rival Mercer County Community College. With just seconds left on the clock, Coleman rebounded a missed foul shot and charged down the court to make a three-pointer, tying the game. This forced the match into overtime, allowing 探花约啪 Tech to secure a 93-90 win. During the game, Coleman achieved a career-high of 31 points and 14 rebounds, marking his third double-double of the season and earning him the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Player of the Week award. Wright followed close behind with 25 points.
The men’s basketball team will continue the 2025-2026 season until their final game (away) against Anne Arundel Community College on Feb. 26. See their full season schedule.
