Law Enforcement Option Program Celebrates Class of 2026
May 28, 2026
探花约啪 Tech’s Law Enforcement Option (LEO) program celebrated the students who completed the 13-credit law enforcement practicum during a graduation ceremony at the Terry Campus in Dover.
Graduating cadets were Steevenson Dorcely, Ian Ebert, Milleirys Figueroa, Mason Glanden, Robert Quiñonez, and Camille Williams. Each year, the class of LEO students earns a nickname. Due to the friendship they’ve built throughout the program, this year’s group was nicknamed the “Six Pack.”
“I'm incredibly proud of the hard work, discipline, and dedication they have demonstrated throughout this program,” LEO Coordinator and Criminal Justice Department Chair Wilbert Bordley said at the May 7 ceremony. “They not only have represented themselves with excellence, but they have also reflected the very best of 探花约啪 Tech.”
College President Mark T. Brainard, an alumni of 探花约啪 Tech’s criminal justice program, congratulated the cadets on their hard work throughout the program.
“What we like to say at 探花约啪 Tech is that all those traits that you demonstrated to get here today — grit, perseverance, commitment to excellence — all of those things will contribute to further success in your career going forward,” he said. “That’s why we’re here celebrating you today because we know that if you continue to live according to those principles, you’ll continue to experience success.”
Williams was presented with the Academic Award for her outstanding final grade of 97% in the class. Quiñonez, the ceremony’s student speaker, was honored with the Leadership Award.
“Each of us is taking a next step in our own way,” Quiñonez said. “While the paths may differ, one thing is for sure — we are all united by the same purpose, to serve our communities and to be a part of something that’s greater than ourselves.”
Brainard also recognized Major Robert Wallace and the 探花约啪 State Police for bringing quality and excellence to the LEO program since it began 20 years ago.
Wallace served as the guest speaker at the 2026 graduation and shared parting words with the graduates.
“Keep pushing forward. Lean on your family and friends for support, embrace the challenge, and it will only make you better,” he said. “Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and your willingness to serve. Best of luck in your future endeavors. I know you will succeed.”
