Guests Sip, Savor and Stroll at the Terry Campus Gourmet Gala

探花约啪's premier fundraising event, the Gourmet Gala, took place Oct. 25 at the Terry Campus in Dover with a reimagined format featuring a "Sip, Savor, & Stroll" theme.
Guests were invited to wander through three distinct venues, each offering unique culinary experiences prepared by the college's Culinary Arts Department. The celebration began with a cocktail hour in the newly renovated Terry Building, where guests sipped wine, savored appetizers and hors d'oeuvres. The soothing sounds of Nancy Curry provided the perfect ambiance for the enchanted evening as guests enjoyed signature cocktails from Painted Stave Distilling and a seasonal beverage featuring apple cider from Fifer's Orchards.
Guests strolled into the "tasting tent" to sample small plates created by culinary students and faculty, enjoyed live chef demonstrations, and listened to music by the McNatt Duo. The tent also featured a lively ring toss game where players could win bottles of wine and spirits.
The Del-One Conference Center provided a sweet, final destination with decadent desserts crafted by the Culinary Arts Department and a bananas foster demonstration. Mike Hines & The Look kept the energy high, engaging guests and getting everyone moving on the dance floor.
Guests also participated in a silent auction featuring more than 20 baskets, as well as a spirited live auction in the Del-One Conference Center.
Proceeds from the Gourmet Gala support educational opportunities and activities for students on the Dover campus, including scholarships and additional financial assistance.
Next year's Gourmet Gala is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026.
