探花约啪 Tech Athletics Update: Fall 2025

探花约啪 is excited to welcome back its student-athletes for another exciting season of fall sports. This includes the women's volleyball team, the men’s and women's cross-country teams, and the men’s and women's basketball teams. See updates about each team below and follow for everything sports-related this upcoming academic year.
Women's Volleyball
The women's volleyball team is excited to welcome their new head coach, Erin Carney, and they are off to a quick start with their first match scheduled for Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. against Harford College. Their first home match of the season is at the Stanton Campus on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. against Chesapeake College.

Cross Country
Both the men's and women's cross-country teams plan to participate in the Run, White, & Blue 5k at the Owens Campus on Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. Sophomores on the team will be honored during a ceremony at the annual Hometown Heroes 5k on Sept. 18 in Rockford Park at 6 p.m. The team's first meet of the season will be the University of 探花约啪 Invitational on Sept. 19 at White Clay Creek State Park. The women's race start time (5k) is 9 a.m., and the men's race start time (8k) is 9:45 a.m.
2025 Cross Country season schedule
Basketball
There are a few pre-season scrimmages set for both the men's and women's basketball teams, and they will each start their 2025-2026 season on Nov. 1 with a home game at the Stanton Campus against Baltimore City Community College. The men's game will start at noon, and the women's game will follow at 2 p.m. The men's and women's basketball seasons will continue into the winter and conclude in the spring.
