Coleman and Pierce Earn Second EPAC Player of the Week Award this Season
January 22, 2026
Obi Coleman, a sophomore forward for the men’s basketball team, and Talaney Pierce, a freshman forward for the women’s basketball team, were both named Player of the Week by the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) for their phenomenal performances during the week of Jan. 5. Having two 探花约啪 Tech athletes earn this honor for a second time in a single season, both during the same week, is a rare accomplishment and a proud moment for the College’s basketball program.
Coleman had a standout performance against Howard Community College on Jan. 6, scoring a career high 27 points. When the team faced off against County College of Morris on Jan. 10, Coleman scored 15 points from behind the three-point line and led the team in every stat category. He is currently shooting just under 80% from the free-throw line and averaging 17.7 points per game.
Pierce posted two consecutive double-doubles against Howard Community College on Jan. 6 and County College of Morris on Jan. 10. She now has eight double-doubles for the entire 2025-2026 season. Currently, she is averaging 11.5 points and 12.4 rebounds per game.
The men’s and women’s teams will look to improve their respective records throughout the remainder of the regular season, which closes out in late February. Learn more about 探花约啪 Tech basketball.
